Smoothie Recipe: The Yellow Gazebo
The Yellow Gazebo Smoothie (aka The Mango and Turmeric Smoothie) is a creamy smoothie that is sweetened with juicy mangoes and flavoured with toasted coconut. The turmeric added to the smoothie creates the vibrant yellow colour and has a multitude of health benefits. The active ingredient in turmeric, called curcumin, has amazing anti-inflammatory properties that have been shown to be comparable to potent over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs. The antioxidants found in turmeric partner with the anti-inflammatory effects, making it perfect for people with IBS, IBD or arthritis. Turmeric also inhibits cancer cell growth and boosts liver detox.

Ingredients:
· 1.5 cups water
· 1 cup mango
· ½ cup unsweetened toasted coconut flakes
· 1 scoop raw plant based protein powder
· 1 Tbsp coconut oil
· 1 Tbsp golden flax seeds
· 2 cm cubed of ginger
· 2 tsp turmeric
· ½ tsp cimmamon
