Amy completed her master’s degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto and became a physiotherapist in 2013, after finishing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University. Since graduating, she has become proficient in her skills with evaluating and assessing patients’ physical abilities through evaluative procedures and functional tests. She also regularly provides individualized and specific programs for patients, based on their personal diagnosis and goals.

Because of a desire to continually learn and develop her talents as a physiotherapist beyond her basic schooling, Amy has taken courses in acupuncture, Pilates, personal training, pelvic health and vestibular physiotherapy to complement her practice. Amy treats many patients with concerns about pelvic health, including those pre-partum, pre-natal, and post-partum. Amy's training in vestibular physiotherapy makes it possible for Amy to help people with a variety of balance-related concerns. And of course, Amy also treats many concerns related to injury.

Amy has an extremely hands on approach to treatment, preferring manual therapy and exercise prescription over using machines. Her specially designed and specific treatment programs for each patient help to ensure quick recovery that lasts. Amy prefers to look at you as a whole, and to focus on the cause of your impairment or complaint, rather than just the symptoms.

Among other issues, Amy is capable of treating:
