Yay! We’re 2 Years Old!

birthday cake 2nd birthday yellow gazeboOver the last two years, you have been an important part of helping Yellow Gazebo grow and become a centre for natural health care in the St. Clair West community. We want you to know how successful we've been, and about our commitment to continue giving to our dearly loved community.

The following are some of the organizations in the community whom we've been happy to donate to, and for whom you've have also played a part, either by donating directly, or by simply coming in and trying our services (for example, just last month we raised money for Bracondale House by donating a percentage of sales from massage therapy treatments). Give yourself a pat on the back and check out this list:

  • Humewood House
  • Rawlinson School
  • McMurrich School
  • Hippo School
  • Once Upon a Time (at Wychwood Barns)
  • aluCine Latin Film Media Arts Festival
  • Bracondale House

And we've been happy to have been a part of the following successful events in the community:

  • Salsa on St. Clair
  • St. Clair Uncorked
  • Dia de Los Muertos (at Wychwood Barns)

Even our services have grown - we started with only acupuncture, massage, psychotherapy, yoga, and nutrition, and we are proud to now also offer the following services as well:

We have been happy to offer a wide array of workshops as well over the last two years, including the successful "Stress Busting" workshops co-hosted by holistic nutritionist Jesse Lane Schelew and psychotherapist Megan Rafuse. Our up-coming workshop on Nordic Pole Walking is a free intro, and is bound to be popular as well.

Also coming up:

  • Even more customizable programs. With savings of over 35% on some programs, their interest has garnered requests for even more. Look out for newly designed programs coming up, and as always, feel free to talk to us about designing a program with three or more of our services that suits your own personal needs.
  • We plan to expand and open a yoga studio in the area by 2016, in order to even better serve the community.
  • This fall we will introduce our own line of organic, natural skin care products! We will be donating some of the profits of this line to the Environmental Working Group, an environmental organization that specializes in research and advocacy in the areas of toxic chemicals, agricultural subsidies, public lands, and corporate accountability.

Once again, thanks for helping us reach our 2nd birthday, and congratulations to you on having been an important part of the process!
