From an early age, this empathetic therapist knew she wanted to be a healer. Sulma has special interests in prenatal, postnatal, and women’s health massage. A mother herself, she understands the physical and emotional challenges women experience throughout pregnancy and motherhood. On top of her formal training, she is also certified in Perinatal Massage Therapy to work with pregnant clients, including high-risk pregnancy conditions.

Sulma knows each client has unique preferences and problems, thus each case requires a fresh mind and approach. She believes that a positive mindset in both the client & therapist is crucial to encourage the body’s inherent ability to heal. Effective massage doesn’t have to be painful, and she likes to encourage the clients to listen to what the body can endure at any given time.

In the past, her love for pilates led her to become a fully certified STOTT Pilates instructor. This experience combined with massage therapy allows her to have a distinct understanding of core stability, dynamic movement, and musculoskeletal health and wellness. She is an 2016 honours graduate from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) Toronto and is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario (CMTO).

Her list of favourite things: mason jars, pilates, cats and dogs, food, cooking, chocolate. She hopes to master Aerial Silks one day.
