Jesse is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from ICT Kikkawa College and had the opportunity to study under very skilled professionals in the industry. He studied Swedish Massage with a heavy emphasis on fascial release techniques. Jesse has a passion for rehabilitative work. This ranges from helping clients regain mobility, as well as decreasing pain from chronic conditions. Through the combination of fascial techniques, Swedish massage, stretching and joint work, he hopes to help others reach their goals and gain relief.

Jesse began his journey into massage therapy by taking yoga classes for his own personal health and mobility concerns. While he still enjoys doing yoga, he instead found stretching much more effective. Stretching then segued into learning about muscles and fascia, which is the connective tissue that basically holds everything together. After gaining all the knowledge he could on his own, he decided to pursue his curiosities and enroll in massage school.

Jesse believes that education and learning is unending and will always continue seeking out more ways to better his understanding of his craft. While working part time towards his Bachelor’s of Science, he will continue indulging in courses such as Fascial Stretch Therapy, Thai Massage and be continuously upgrading his Myofascial approach to rehabilitation.

What is registered massage therapy?

Registered massage therapy, a regulated health profession in Ontario, is generally taught in the method of Swedish massaging. This technique involves long, smooth strokes, kneading, and other movements intent on causing relaxation of the muscles, accomplished by improving circulation to the muscles via the massage, thereby improving oxygen and nutrient supply to the tissues. While a registered massage therapist helps treat injuries, illness and stress, they are also excellent for helping prevent illness and conditions before they develop.
