Welcoming Two New Counsellors to Yellow Gazebo: Meet Meagan and Hannah!

At Yellow Gazebo Counselling, we are always looking for ways to expand our team and provide the best possible care for our clients. That’s why we are thrilled to introduce two incredible new counsellors, Meagan and Hannah, who are joining us both in-person and online! Their diverse experience and compassionate approaches make them excellent additions to our team, and we can’t wait for you to meet them.

Meet Meagan

Meagan is a psychotherapist (qualifying) with the CRPO and brings a wealth of experience supporting individuals on their mental health journey. With a Master of Counselling Psychotherapy from Yorkville University and extensive training in mental health and addictions, Meagan is dedicated to helping clients navigate challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, work/life balance, stress, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, and substance use.

Meagan’s background as a counsellor includes working with individuals on the autism spectrum, youth in shelters, and crisis intervention outreach. Her personal experience with mental health gives her a deep sense of empathy and understanding, ensuring that every client feels supported and heard. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused therapy.

Meet Hannah

Hannah is a registered psychotherapist with an impressive academic background, holding a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, a Master of Education in Developmental Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Queen’s University. She specializes in working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, self-esteem challenges, and interpersonal difficulties.

Hannah’s approach as a counsellor is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental, creating a safe space where clients feel empowered in their healing process. She offers an integrative and strengths-based approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
