Osteopath – Nazanin Eshghi Moghaddam

osteopath st clair west forest hill toronto   Pursuing her life-long dream of helping others, Nazanin Eshghi Moghaddam BSc DOMP began her career in healthcare by first going to York University and obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Nazanin then attended the National Academy of Osteopathy where she excelled academically and graduated obtaining certification as a manual osteopath (DOMP), with her thesis focusing on "The Effects of Manual Osteopathy on Geriatric Patients”. Over the years, Nazanin has also devoted her time and attention to volunteering both in research and in the community. For example, she was involved in research with patients suffering from spasticity in the West Park Healthcare Center, and she has volunteered at the Sunnybrook / St. John's Rehabilitation Hospital, assisting physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Nazanin also takes part in various social organizations. She is one of the executive members of the Canadian Association for Stem Cell Research (CASCR), which is a student-run club at York University.

Furthermore, Nazanin:

  • is certified for kinesiology taping for therapeutic purposes
  • runs the YG Weight Loss Program
  • can do Laser Therapy for her patients
  • and is currently pursuing her doctorate in osteopathy.
